I have not tried Paralles on the Mac although I have used it for hosted linux environments and it preforms very well. Right now I am very pleased with VMware and plan to stick with it for the time being.
One thing I miss on the Mac, and which my Win/Thinkpad excelled, is "portability" - the Thinkpad is small enough to want to carry (the Mac is a Beast), and the Thinkpad has a battery life that was practical (must be at least twice or more the battery lifetime as the Mac, especially in wifi mode).

I don't miss the grinding slowness of Windows booting, launching, and various and sundry other everyday tasks.

Each of these blog entries is like a thrash of a machete to thick forest brush. Your helping to clear the trail for other developers who feel dependence on the M$ platform.

Keep up the great work!

JD
